Othniel Smith is the author of a number of plays e.g. “Giant Steps” (Oval House, London and Chapter, Cardiff, 1998; published in “New Welsh Drama II” - Parthian Books, 2001), “Fight Of The Century” (BBC Wales/Sherman Theatre, Cardiff, 2002) and “See The Glory” (Talawa’s “Manz Like Me” season, Young Vic, London, 2008). He has also penned a number of short stories and plays for BBC Radio Four - including “Thank-You for Talking To Me Africa” (1994), and “Man Talk” (2001); and episodes of the children’s television series “The Story Of Tracy Beaker”, “Kerching”, “Hilltop Hospital” and “Tati’s Hotel”.
